Demonoid Ad Remover
Removes all known Demonoid ads, and fixes some annoyances. (v1.15)
This script removes all known Demonoid ads. It then uses the newly available whitespace to fill out the page. The latest version now removes the Kontera contextual ads.
Current Version: 1.15
Version 1.15 * Fixed removal of Sponsored Links in the torrent listings. (Change may not be noticed if you have Adblock installed.)
Version 1.14 * Added removal of Kontera contextual ads. (Thanks pulseforce. Code from Grant Goodale.) * Removed some older coding. Should increase the speed in theory.
Version 1.12 * Fixed the disappearing forum menu.
Version 1.11 * Fixed issue with sending PM's. (Exclude http://*demonoid.com/private_message.php*)
Version 1.1 * No longer calls a remote server for image replacements.
Current Version: 1.15
Features
Things that are removed include:- "Sponsored links" in the torrent listings

- Disclaimer at the bottom

Works great, only request would be if you can make the top bar fit the bottom frame? The bar that consists of "Control Panel", "My Torrents", your upload and download rate, etc etc, extends out further than the frame that consists of the nav bar, where the torrent list loads, and what not. Any way to make it shrink like the bottom frame does?

Before I was doing this with adblock plus element hider but this works just as well. Thanks alot! :)
Also, if you know of a way to change the color of demonoid from that green to something cool like black or dark blue, let me know!

It looks like Demonoid may not come back. If I get an invite to a good replacement I'll be sure to make another script for it, but until then I guess development is sorta halted. :(

Thanks for implementing the ad-word removal! I am flattered that you give me credit in your source code.
You are doing a fantastic job maintaining the script so that us regular users don't have to watch those annoying ad-ridden pages with blinking flash animations, sounds and "buy a russian bride"-adverts. You know what I'm talking about. ;)
Although, I just begun donating to Demonoid so I don't see ads anymore, but before doing that this script was absolutely vital for my sanity! ;)

Well, I have a request. Could you integrate Kontera ad-removal? Those highlighted words that you hover over and you see Shopping.com links, they are added by an ad-service called Kontera.
This script called "Disable Text Ads" handles every ad type, including Kontera. The code is very simple, it just intercepts DOMNodeInserted and you can easily take the bit that deals with Kontera.
Either that, or tell people to get that script for text-ad removal. Your script is fantastic, and that one completes the ad-free experience!
