Updated October 15 2008:

• Works with the new version of Facebook, whether links are opened in the same tab or in a new tab
• Lets you download videos from video pages
• The 'big profile pictures' feature now works much better than in the previous release - it should now work on all pages
• An option was added to create a border around any picture that supports 'big profile pictures'
• Holding SHIFT, CTRL or ALT keeps big profile pictures open so you can click on them or save the picture
• Pressing Escape closes any pop-up created by this script

Minor update on October 16 2008 to fix small bugs on the video (thanks sizzlemctwizzle) and profile/info pages.

Overview

Facebook fixer provides the following features:

Details

Bigger Profile Pictures
Shows a bigger profile picture when hovering the mouse over a small profile picture, even if the person is not your friend. You can choose to have the bigger picture stay visible until you click the 'x' to close it. Or you can have it disappear when you move the mouse off of the small picture (in this mode you can hold CTRL, SHIFT or ALT when taking the mouse off the small picture if you want the big one to stay visible). More customization is available in the scripts configuration

Bigger Album Pictures
Provides a link to "show bigger pictures" which shows the full-size versions of pictures from albums, profile pictures and pictures a person was tagged in.

Video Download Links
Provides links on video pages to download the video (underneath the links for tagging/reporting the video). Facebook uses more than one format for videos - files with a FLV extension must be played using an FLV player. If the file doesn't start downloading when you click 'Download Video', right click on the link and select 'Save Link As'.

Age and Sign
Shows a person's sign and age (depending on the amount of information they make public about their birth date).

Direct Links
Changes external redirecting links to direct links (such as those in notes and items).

Automatically Check for Script Updates
Automatically checks everyday to see if Facebook Fixer has been updated. You can also check for updates on demand in the scripts configuration. (Thanks to Jarett for his Script Update Checker)

Customization

Every feature listed above can be turned on and off independently in the scripts configuration. When viewing any page on Facebook you can access the Facebook Fixer customization page through the Firefox menu: Tools > Greasemonkey > User Script Commands > Configure Facebook Fixer.

Customization must be done after you log in and the script will store separate preferences for separate Facebook accounts.
