UPDATED! Sept 2008

I no longer add external comics. I don't support the viewing of copyrighted works in unofficial manners, but am leaving this script here for historical reasons. I suggest using an RSS feed reader (need one for Mac? or maybe Google Reader?) and subscribing to your favorite comics. Feeds exist for both Diesel Sweeties and UserFriendly.org, which are no longer part of this script.

Shows all comics

This script shows all the pictures which were linked to from the new and un-improved page. (William Rawls, who wrote this part of the script, says "Basically I love reading the comics from his page, but apparently someone told him to stop showing the images. This script will convert the links to the comic images back into images.")

Afixes Calvin and Hobbes

This user script adds Calvin & Hobbes (fixes its current broken status by adding it in a different manner at the bottom of the page)

Flexibility

It also works when you go to the previous day's comics, for example if you forgot them yesterday.

Styling

Uses CSS styles to change the page to a white-on-grey colorscheme to be easier on the eyes, and reduces distance between comics. You can comment this out in the source if you don't like it. Alternatively, you can edit the CSS styles in the source.

Checks for updates

This script loads a page off my server to check for more recent versions and will notify you if they are available. No private data is collected (check the code).

Remove comics?

For further modification, I suggest using Firefox's Adblock utility to _remove_ the comics you don't like.
