Used in combination with the PermaTabs and Faviconize Tab extensions, you can easily keeps tabs on your Inbox status in much less screen real estate than usual.

Version 2.5 has been rewritten from the ground up. Originally built by David Alan Schoonover and retro-fitted nearly a year after production ceased on the project, this latest version solves many of the existing bugs and introduces new and updated capabilities, such as:

  • The FavIcon now stays up-to-date no matter what folder you're in (Inbox, Starred, Trash, etc.)
  • The script utilizes Gmail's GreaseMonkey API, increasing the script's speed and reliability
  • Google Apps for Your Domain Gmail Accounts are now supported at their default location (ex. http://mail.google.com/a/[url])
  • Icons have been updated and are now embedded in the script, so no external resources are required

This version has been tested to work in Firefox 2, 3 Beta 5, & 3 RC 1 on PC and Mac. As always, please let me know of any issues you run into. In addition, any feature suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
