BetterTube 5.19.1

auto-embeds the video file, enlarges it, and provides a link to download the video. supports 57 websites (incl. embed-disabled youtube videos). auto-checks for updates to the script weekly.



notes:
  1. video size is set to 80% of screen resolution by default, but can be changed in the SCRIPT CONFIGURATION section.
  2. wait for website to load completely, then it should change to the enlarged video.
  3. (FEATURE TEMPORARILY DISABLED) autoplay is turned off by default, but can be toggled on/off through greasemonkey menu command
  4. sites have direct download links, link to keepvid, or link to clipnabber, depending on whether or not they're available
  5. auto-update code is from http://test.jtymes.net/js/updater.html thanks mr. Tymes!
  6. special thanks to Yansky, who made the script work with break.com and embed-disabled youtube videos!

What lines would i comment out to disable to autoplay? I like to open collegehumor videos in new tabs and play one at a time, right now i have to open a few tabs pause them all then watch them... or open one at a time. Great script i was just wondering.

@youtube.com -->why not make the 80% screen and all that toggle able with a link? i can't read the comments and so on without disable userscript and refresh

@information: no there's no way to disable BetterTube other than the ways you described. to watch videos with BetterTube you're supposed to open the videos in a new tab, since BetterTube gets rid of everything else used for navigation.

Silly question: Is there a way to return to regular YouTube without disabling the script or disabling Greasemonkey altogether? Thanks, the script appears to be working perfectly.
